My client is a multi-disciplined firm of civil/ structural consulting engineers based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. They have been successful in all development arenas for over 30 years. The partnership continues to enjoy long-standing client relationships with developers, contractors and allied construction professionals. Projects they have completed spread across the commercial and industrial sectors. These projects vary from highly innovative and prestigious to the more conventional and traditional.

Situated in modern offices offering a pleasant working environment, my client employs over 40 technical staff all of whom utilise their modern, fully-networked computer systems. In order to maintain their competitive advantage in the market place, my client keeps abreast of the latest developments in hardware technology and maintain an impressive range of specialist software packages.

My client requires an exceptional CAD Technician/ Design Engineer with good IT skills. Training will be offered in the use of Autocad, Office and civil/ structural design software such as PDS, Windes and Trax.

As Cad Technician/ Design Engineer you will need good general civil engineering background with particular bias for design of Highways and Drainage. A working knowledge of earthworks, volumetrics and setting out would be an advantage.
