Job Description

A permanent job available for a CAD Technician within a Mining/Minerals consultancy. They are based in South London and are looking for someone with a wealth of experience in structural steel and draughting Mineral Plants and Conveyors.

The client has acquired various international projects within the gold and ore mining industries. They will be undertaking the design and draughting work of large steel conveyors and the mechanical plants.

This position will prove to be a very rewarding and a challenging role as you will be involved with various areas of the Mining / Plant Construction / Mineral Process / Material handling industry.

For a successful application you'll need to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of draughting mining related structures/components using AutoCAD. The role will require you to take a leading role in the draughting office so strong communication skills are a must and at times you'll also need to assist the junior draughtsman.
