Our client operates at the forefront of the transport, property and industry sectors and is one of the world's leading project and cost consultants.

Their flexible and multi-disciplinary approach enables them to provide an independent service in three key areas; consulting, project management and commercial services.

In addition to this they are a member of one of the world's leading providers of professional, technologically-based consultancy and support services.

They are currently looking to recruit a construction professional to join their Consult Team in Leeds.

The Consult Division advises clients on the form, application and interpretation of contractual structures throughout every stage of project development.

From initial discussions through to closure, their specialists have wide experience of providing the advice needed to ensure smooth running of the contract, satisfaction of employer requirements, correct allocation of risk and resolution of disputes and conflict.

In addition to the traditional contentious (reactive) services associated with dispute resolution, Consult has in recent years concentrated on helping clients avoid conflict. This requires involvement as early as possible in order to be able to work with the project team to incorporate contract procedures and procurement strategies which will avoid disputes and / or will provide the most appropriate method of resolution should they occur.

The right applicant will have at least 10 years construction consultancy experience, most probably originally within quantity surveying, and hold relevant qualifications and industry charterships. They must be able to demonstrate a proven ability in the professional services outlined above.

They are particularly interested in applicants with knowledge and experience of the mining industry.
