Due to an increase in workload this environmental health department urgently requires an enthusiastic and motivated officer to assist their busy team.

This role is for an assistant, to help and support the team of environmental health officers within the department. The duties will include; assisting with environmental complaints, assisting officers in the installation and calibration of the borough’s air quality network, attending meetings, gathering samples / evidence and writing reports.

The successful applicant will be confident and outgoing with a keen interest in environmental issues. Applicants must have a relevant qualification, and relevant experience (not necessarily from within the UK). Excellent communication skills and a solid grasp of the english language are essential requirements for this position.
