Job Description
A Planning Officer is required to assist with Planning Applications within the Development Control section of this organisation. You will be providing advice on planning applications for projects such as domestic extensions and residential developments. You will also be involved in going to site to inspect work/applications. It is essential that you have a degree in Town or Country Planning, although a related degree (in Geography for example) plus experience will be considered. A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role is required. The hours of work are Monday to Friday and flexitime is available, as long as 37 hours per week are worked. The contract is for a minimum of 3 months, and is likely to continue beyond this period.
