Job Description
This small but busy structural engineering consultancy is looking for a structural designer detailer to join their team due to the retirement of a senior member of staff. They undertake a massive variety of small to medium sized projects from alterations to escalators to repair work. They are very busy on the residential side, as few people want to move and would prefer to spend money improving their properties.
You will be working on projects from conception to competition, producing GA's, sections and details in steel, timber and masonry. I knowledge of RC detailing is an advantage but not essential. You will be heavily involved with the project working closely with a senior engineer producing some simple design calculations.
They can offer long-term work, challenging and very involved work and a supportive and friendly working environment. This position is to start at the end of the month but interviews are taking place now. Contact me now to be considered.
