Job Description

The role is to support Route Manager in managing the delivery of the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN) operations. This will include:
·Works instruction, management and supervision of consultants and contractors
·Incident management
·Contributing to programme development and delivery
·Development of a team culture of network ownership in your designated Area.
·Managing all activities taking place on the Area network on a 24/7 basis, ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive, customer focused and responsive service.
·To develop good working relationships with the Term Maintenance Contractor (TMC), support consultants and their supply chain

The Assistant Route Manager will be co-located with the TMC and will be TfL's 'network based' representative managing the network service.

The consultancy is seeking an experienced Engineer / Supervisor with experience of highway maintenance and improvement works, New Road & Streetworks Act and Traffic Management Act 2004
