A multi-disciplinary consultancy with a unique approach is currently seeking a Graduate/Consultant Transport Planner who has gained at least 6 months experience in Pedestrian Modelling. This consultancy consistently placed the firm at the forefront of industry thinking, enabling them to provide practical solutions to clients' problems, often through the implementation of new and innovative measures.

They employ professional staff including; transport planners, traffic engineers, planning and regeneration specialists, urban designers, traffic modellers, economists and market researchers.

Their London office is looking to recruit a Graduate/Consultant Transport Planner to provide technical and project support within the Transport Planning Group. You will be involved in a range of transport planning projects; in particular you will be undertaking studies and research of pedestrian movement within transport and public spaces and other walking/urban realm projects.

Applicants should have:
·Relevant experience in transport planning or in a similar role.
·Experience in the analysis of pedestrian movement is required, with the use of PEDROUTE or Legion software a distinct advantage.
·You will have excellent communication skills with a high standard of spoken and written English.

Project base includes high profile projects such as Crossrail, Edinburgh Tram, CABE's Manual for Streets and ULTra Heathrow Terminal 5.

Salary will vary from 18k to 27k depending on experience. Benefits include London weighting, season ticket loans, pension, private health and annual holiday.
