Fantastic opportunity to work with the UK's largest independent consultant with over 12,000 staff worldwide, and are the largest UK engineering consultant operating in the Middle East. Our clients Middle East Environment Team has been established to take advantage of the current regional boom and the increasing environmental awareness and requirement for a more sustainable approach to developments. They are now seeking a fully proficient and capable candidate to manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA's) and due diligence for a wide range of projects.

Job Description:
This position will be based in Abu Dhabi and will report to the Middle East Environmental manager. The successful candidate will be a good team worker, and will have a desire and ability to deliver high quality work. They will manage a wide range of environmental projects, both technically and financially, and will support and guide junior staff. They will have technical skills in one or more of the following areas: EIAs, Due Diligence, Environmental Management Systems, and Sustainability Advice/Services.

Candidate specification

- A relevant first degree and a post graduate degree in an environmental or relevant engineering subject
- Significant experience in environmental consultancy, including large scale projects covering transport, infrastructure, marine and/or mixed-use developments
- Full membership of a recognised environmental professional body High standards of written and verbal communication in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage
- Excellent IT skills; experience of GIS and CAD would be an advantage
- A track record of good project and financial management
- Ability to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Full clean driver's licence
