A fantastic opportunity has come about to work on an exciting new development in Abu Dhabi - Saadiyat Island.
The client, a top consultancy are heading up the Cultural District of Saadiyat Island, a £58 Billion project, working on recreating the Guggenheim Museum, Louvre Museum & a National Maritime Museum...

I am looking for an experience construction manager to oversee infrastructure work on a the project.

The role is as follows:

Communicate with and update the Project Director continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of concerns

Advice the Project Director on any potential variation to the Contractor's Scope of Work that may generate cost or time impact and present the Project Management's assessment

Assess change requests as submitted by contractor and report to the Project Director the recommendation of PMC.

Make sure that all PMC staff are aware of the project procedure and drawings.

Lead PMC staff in reviewing the Tender and Contracts documents and advise the Project Director / Project Manger of any deficiency

Review and comment Contractor proposed site organization, key personnel,
construction equipment and manpower histogram and advise on any shortage

Regular visits to project site for global monitoring of site activities in respect to quality, safety and progress and advise Client's representative of findings, are of concern and corrective action.

Ensure PMC staff involvement and implementation of field quality control procedures, safety and progress aspects.

Lead PMC in reviewing& implementation pre-commissioning planes, final inspection of work & preparation of punch list and assessing of the close-out reports submitted with project objectives.

Make sure that the As-Built drawings, vendor and equipments warranties, O&M manuals, spare parts and training programme as submitted by the Contractor are reviewed verified against project requirements.

Ensure that the established Project/Construction Management and / or Supervision procedures are implemented.
