Quantity Surveyors – Civil Infrastructure
Gold Coast Queensland, Australia.

Working for a large blue chip contractor in Australia specialising within the civils infrastructure sector, this $ bn project with a 3 year construction cycle requires a number of Estimators, QS's for the project.

You will be directly responsible for and be able to show previous similar experience in:

§ Completion cost forecasting
§ Sub contract negotiation and tender award
§ Managing of final accounts
§ Preparation of cost plans
§ Liaison with both client and contractors on financial matters


The ideal applicant will be degree qualified within Quantity Surveying and IT proficient and have experience in the above, although this is not essential. They will be a good communicator and be able to fit into a team easily.

As well as a highly competitive salary (between $110 – 160k dependent on experience) , assistance with Visa if necessary, equivalent BUPA scheme, optional pension scheme and help towards relocation costs are on offer.

Interviews are to be held within the UK, and starts expected late ‘08/ first quarter ‘09.
