A new career opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Transport Modeller with a strong technical background to work for a major global design consultancy

The successful candidate will be working within an established modelling team, reporting to a Team Leader, and will perform the following duties:
Project Management
Task management of modelling projects
Ensuring technical content and quality of output produced is in line with the project brief
Assess and programme staffing requirements for projects
Analyse, evaluate and appraise transport modelling problems and budget
Monitor and control all aspects of project progress and costs

Requirements:
Essential
Significant experience in the use of and management of projects featuring PARAMICS and/or VISSIM micro-simulation software
Experience of using or managing the application of modelling software: highway models (e.g SATURN); multi-modal models (CUBE, EMME/2 and spreadsheet models); junction analysis (TRANSYT, LINSIG, OSCADY, ARCADY, PICADY); traffic forecasting (TEMPRO, TRICS); and economic assessment (TUBA, COBA, QUADRO)

Desirable
Transport related MSc
Professional membership of a relevant institution
Strong knowledge of technical transport planning environment, with focus on transport modelling and appraisal
Knowledge of UK transport planning market, financial management and client liaison experience.
