Our Client has a vacancy for a Roading Construction Manager in their team based in Southland, New Zealand.

The position is a senior role responsible for leading their roading construction division. The right person would be part of their company senior management team and be responsible for the identification of work, tendering, management and supervision of the divisional staff and subcontractors, client liaison, contract pricing and administration, financial performance and management of the division.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary engineering qualification, practical experience in roading, construction, contracting, staff management and business management. However of greater importance is the successful candidate having the personality, passion, commitment and enthusiasm to fit in to our client's team.

Our Client is a privately owned construction company operating in the lower South Island of New Zealand, specialising in roading construction and maintenance, project development work that includes subdivisions, commercial site development, asphalt pavement construction and bridge building.
They are a small specialist team employing 120 staff, who knows how to get work done and have fun doing it.
