The public sector is currently very busy at the moment and in an effort to produce high quality schemes on time and in budget, this local authority is currently seeking an engineer to come on board and help with the work load. The successful candidate will join the Traffic section and be in charge of running his or her own schemes from feasibility, through preliminary and detailed design phase and the final implementation stages.

Candidates should have experience in Traffic Management Schemes, Local Safety Schemes, Safer Routes to School and Bus Priority/Accessibility. Working knowledge of AutoCad is also required.

This job is a great opportunity to join a busy team where you will gain experience in a range of projects whilst in the security of a long term contract.
