The American Hospital Dubai is a 143 bed, acute care, general medical/surgical hospital whose mission is to provide high quality American standard healthcare that will meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the people of Dubai, the UAE and the surrounding Gulf States.

The Role:
In conjunction with the Director, Facilities, plans, directs, coordinates, supervises and evaluates the activities of the Housekeeping Department of the Hospital to meet the Support Services Department mission, goals and objectives as detailed in the DPPs and standards of the institution. Undertakes special assignments as delegated by the Director, Facilities.
Assumes 24-hour responsibility for the management and operations of the Housekeeping Department
You will have:
Environmental Degree/Diploma in Environmental Services or equivalent.
Food hygiene certificate.
Maintains membership of a Professional Institute or Society.

Experience:
Minimum five (5) years related experience as a Housekeeping Manager with knowledge of clinical environmental standards.
Previous experience of Hospital environmental standards and JCAHO/JCIA accreditation.
