Job Description

Our client is a major sub-contracting company with a large project due for completion in 2010. They need a senior mechanical engineer with a proven track record and high rise experience for the following duties:

The overall control for the execution of the works in all regards

Co-ordination of all site activities

Integration of project engineering, procurement and installation activities

Programming the works

Checking Suppliers Trade-contractors' activities

Ensuring that the established working procedures are operational, e.g. Quality and Safety Plans

Preparing and issuing the project report to the customer team

Procurement & checking the placement of equipment and sub-contract orders for all packages.

Assisting with the cost control

Ensuring all Health & Safety, Quality and Record documentation is completed and up to date

This is a freelance assignment and a fantastic opportunity for the right person to work on a well known construction project in the heart of London.
