There is a brilliant opportunity for a Wastewater Networks Design Team Leader to lead and multi-disciplinary team in our clients West Midlands office. This team is going to be tasked with supporting the AMP5 work that comes from primarily Severn Trent Water. This is a relatively new office that has been specifically put together for the next five years of AMP5 work. Before this kicks off you will be providing support to other ongoing work country wide, which could include Thames Water, Scottish Water and the like.

Our client is looking for a Wastewater Networks Design Engineer who is looking to take the next step. Ideally someone with a proven background in wastewater network design, pumping stations, valve chambers and other hydraulic structures. A strong leader who has the ability and desire to manage and coordinate the team as well as offer sound and experienced technical advice. This role is diverse and challenging and would require an individual to not only have strong technical skills but also some exposure or desire to become involved in both business development and mentoring of more junior team members. An academic qualification in Civil engineering or equivalent is desirable and will ideally be accompanied with a membership to a relevant engineering institute.
