Job Description

In the role of Team Leader you will be working as a senior member of a team of CAD engineers in the development and production of detailed design drawings for a number of projects with in the water sector, through out the UK. As the CAD team leader you would be in charge of the coordination of the team and also monitoring the level of output from all technicians. You will be expected to prioritise work accordingly and work along side the Project Managers and Business Unit Supervisor to ensure that your teams work is in meeting with time and budget of the projects. The role would need you to apply CAD specific New Project start-up Procedures (as listed in 'CAD in EMEAI' Knowledge Community) and will ensure adherence to Client standards. This is a brilliant opportunity to make this role your own and work significantly in the improvement of your team and structures, you would be in charge of putting in place a Drawing quality check system, plan team training, also assist in coordinating/Producing and maintaining User Guides, Standards and Skills Matrix. As Senior CAD technician you will be documenting all technical and software support resolutions and will co-ordinate with iNet on appropriate tasks.

Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior CAD technician with proven experience in leading a technical CAD team. Experience and knowledge of the Water Sector would be extremely advantageous. Understating and application of CAD use is essential along with business development and management experience.
