Job Description

One of our leading clients is looking for someone to assist with the overseeing, operation, co-ordination and reporting on the commercial management of projects and to assist with the administering, measurement and reporting on financial matters relative to specific contracts to achieve commercial success.

The project itself encompasses of a range of Heavy Civils.
Role and Responsibilities
*To assist in achieving the appropriate commercial result and report on contract
profitability
*To assist in ensuring that the works which the company executes are valued and
payment obtained
*To assist with the operation systems to produce information accurately and on time
*To assist with the provision of information to produce turnover and cash flow forecasts
*To assist in placing subcontract orders
*To assist other teams in the provision and measurement of quantities as instructed

The ideal candidate will have
*HND.BSc.MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
*Experience of similar role in the construction industry
*Knowledge of the procurement of sub contractors and the monthly measurement cycle
*Understanding of reporting measurement and cost control essential
*Knowledge of Method of Measurement would be an advantage
*Local market knowledge
*Excellent IT skills
*Used to working in a team of surveyors and project managers
*Have the ability to work as part of a team or independently
*Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
*A PTS and relevant CSCS card
