Principal Engineer

About the Role

You'll bring your technical expertise to our rapidly expanding Geotechnical team. It's a high-level role, that'll see you driving consultancy projects across a whole range of areas. Acting as coach and mentor, you'll nurture the technical development of more junior colleagues. More generally, you'll also work hard to raise the profile of our Geotechnics team – both within the organisation as well as to existing and potential clients.

About You

As someone with a high level of technical Geotechnical knowledge, you'll be more than ready for this high-profile role. A chartered member of a professional institute, you'll combine a degree in Civil Engineering or Applied Geology with a postgraduate qualification in Geotechnics. Your extensive experience in this field will mean you have an excellent knowledge of UK design codes, standards, specifications and geotechnical design solutions. On a personal level, you'll also be a great communicator, too – someone who's able to motivate others and inspire those around you.
