Commis Waiter/de Rang – High Class Rest. - Oxford - £15/16k + tips and service charge – 45 Hours – Immed Start

This restaurant has an organic kitchen garden of its own and has recently had a multi-million pound refurbishment going for the more modern look. The cooking under the impressive direction of a celebrity chef does not rest on its laurels. Reading the menu provides the ultimate lesson in how stunning, high quality ingredients cooked with respect need little in the way of pretentious extras: roast suckling pig with marjoram-scented jus; steak of turbot poached in milk and cloves, spring vegetables and morel sauce.

Job Description
Carrying out mise en place before and after service:
Polishing cutlery
Polishing glasses
Collecting dry stores
Take orders from the tables within the station
Professional service of food/desserts and coffees
Responsible for own station and ensuring it has the correct contents
Give and maintain high customer service
Resetting of tables
Removing dirty linen
Collecting clean linen
Observe the Food Hygiene Regulations
Any other duties your manager sees fit to delegate

Job Requirements
Good English, excellent customer care and presentation. The ideal candidate must have Hotel & Catering diploma and/or at least 1-year working experience in a fine dining or Michelin Star standard restaurant/Hotel essential

5 Straight shifts – 2 days off
Roughly 45-50 hour working week, overtime paid.
+- £15,000 salary
