Job Description

We are in the process of opening our brand new luxury 17 bedroom boutique hotel based in the City of London, and we are currently looking to employ a highly experienced and professional Head Housekeeper for an immediate start to join our dedicated opening team.

The hotel is set in a historical Grade II listed building full of character and architecture and the hotel will include 2 upmarket restaurants, a delicatessen and even a food store selling only the finest and freshest ingredients.

We are specifically looking for a professional Head Housekeeper with a stable background within similar boutique & luxury hotels operation

The ideal Head Housekeeper must have:
• Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing, guiding and leading the housekeeping team
• First class customer service with a pro active attitude towards your work as you will be managing not only your team's tasks and rotas but also manage your own department
• The patience and reliability to become the dependable source for any of the guests wants or needs, before and during their visit.
• Helpful attitude in assisting the House Manager with the seamless running of your department and the Hotel Operation
• Excellent communication skills to guests, colleagues and managers and the ability to contribute ideas, suggestions and showing innovation for a more efficient and smooth service.
• Business innovation as you will need to focus on maximising revenue, sales and business development opportunities

In return we will offer the Reception Manager:
• Starting salary of £25,000 (this is dependent on proven abilities and experience) with the intention of an increase of up to £27,000 after successfully completing probationary period after starting.
• Straight shifts.
• 5 days working and 2 days off.
