Reporting directly to a board director of this multi national engineering firm this role will require you to deliver high profile, exciting projects to time, budget and the client's satisfaction. You will play an active role in the development of the highways team whilst liaising with other disciplines within the company and maintaining a "Hands on" approach with the design team. Capable of representing the company at client meetings you will be required to monitor construction development on site along with mentoring your younger staff.
This role is very secure as the client has a forward order book in excess of £500 million.
The highways agency will be one of your key clients so a demonstrable knowledge of their working practices will be a great advantage. Preferably chartered you will be able to demonstrate a high level of technical competency and experience of successfully working on large scale highways projects.
This role will suit either someone looking to make the step up in responsibility or is currently in a similar role but unsure as to their future.
