A thrilling opportunity has arisen with my Clients in their UK Headquarters in Wimbledon, London. My Client is a principal global provider of multidisciplinary environmental and engineering consulting services, which advance both the built and natural environment.
My Client is seeking a Principal Hydrologist / flood risk consultant to join the environmental team and set up a dedicated flood risk service from London.

You will act as a specialist in project managing flood risk assessments and provide hydrological input to the office and assist with developing a London based service to clients in the area, as part of a multidisciplinary consultancy service.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the hydrology field, including risk analysis with a background in river engineering, floodplain management planning and risk management.

You will also have experience in river and floodplain modelling, flood mapping, floodplain damage.

Job Description: You will be required to conduct flood risk assessments using appropriate software, provide advice to scientist and engineers working on drainage schemes and assist with promoting the offering amongst clients.
