Job Description
Based in our clients' Manchester office, this consultancy's water & wastewater team are keen to appoint an additional team member to work on a variety of water and wastewater projects.
The principal job role will be to undertake civil engineering design and engineering as part of a team delivering water and wastewater projects from conception through to construction on site. Typical projects include water and wastewater treatment works, service reservoirs, drainage schemes and outfalls.
Elements of the role include;
Civil engineering general arrangements
Reinforced concrete design and /or interface with structural engineers on design
Pipework layouts and pipelines
Hydraulics
Interface with mechanical and electrical engineers
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes;
Masters Degree in Civil engineering or similar
Chartered status or working towards Chartership
Experience of water / wastewater treatment works or similar
Knowledge of reinforced concrete design
