Job Description
The London Borough of Brent is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer to join the well established team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and development of Traffic Management/Calming Schemes. Experience in the design, consultation and delivery of Controlled Parking Zones is also essential.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator as they will be acting as a negotiator and responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships and other external relationships. The successful candidate will be contributing to the development, promotion and implementation of various council street projects. They will provide advice for improvement schemes, represent the Council at meetings with Government departments and be responsible for the management of staff and delivering schemes in line with the business target plans. They will need to be proficient in AutoCAD and general Microsoft packages as well as have recent experience in managing a variety of projects from planning stage to project delivery.
