familiesstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of community care legislation and policy
To demonstrate appreciation of the needs of Elders and Carers from various ethnic backgrounds, especially Asian elders, in terms of:·Working with individuals and families·Developing services for these groups
To demonstrate a practical grasp of the processes of Assessment and Care Management and her/his role as a Care Co-ordinator
To demonstrate a grasp of financial and contractual considerations in planning to meet the care needs of individual customers and carers.
To give evidence of being able to work collaboratively with personnel from health, voluntary and independent agencies.
To give evidence of working in a customer focused way.
To give evidence of ability to manage competing priorities as a team member and of balancing crises with longer term work as a Duty Worker, Care Co-ordinator and Social Worker.
