This is a position with great potential for the right person - to take a leading role in one of the most creative and dynamic design practices in the country. We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
An inspiring leader with clear vision, the ability to communicate at all levels, and with emotional intelligence. We are looking for a landscape architect who can inspire and communicate great design ideas, and take people with him/her
You must be able to recognise, project and influence good design and creative thinking and a natural networker who is well connected in London in particular, but also nationally
Experience across the board at a general level from strategic work to development, site design and construction; you will need specialist knowledge of the urban agenda, but we are flexible as to where your specialist interest and experience lies
Interdisciplinary working - you must be at home communicating with other professions and thus comfortable working alongside our architects, urban designers, ecologists, and environmental planners in the London office
Both a big picture thinker and someone with natural attention to detail - you need to be at home working at all scales, with views on climate change and new planning policies, an ability to debate design principles and processes, and skills at the construction scale
Ambition - you will have a passion for landscape architecture and a drive to make your mark on the world.
Offering a competitive salary and substantial profit share, as well as partnership potential. You will have a challenging position, with responsibility for bringing in work to the office, helping shape its character and develop the already high quality of its work. The right person will also have the opportunity work at a practice-wide level, depending on your interests and skills.
