Highways Engineer – Recent graduate required to join the UK's leading consulting and business services group, to based in their Chelmsford office. The successful Highways Engineer will join a firm which provide many of the design, managerial and engineering services that support modern society. This is a wide-ranging role that will see you carrying out a range of important tasks on behalf of a local council. You will monitor Sub-contractors, perform QA audits, and maintain their highways database.

You will have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and, ideally, some experience in this area already. It would be advantageous if you have worked in road maintenance, highways construction or pavement design. A strong team player, you will also need to have strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients, both internal and external.
