CAD Technician –Civils. Working for a medium sized Civils contractor this position will suit a CAD technician, where there is an opportunity to have a degree of autonomy, whilst having an Engineer trained Contracts Manager to support you.

The work is in the minor civils end of the market, and our client has taken on a number of rolling contracts catering for Term Maintenance on the civils side, as well as competitively tendering for work in the open market. CAD duties will involve providing as built and as constructed drawings.

You will have a minimum of 2 years site experience since qualifying / graduating, and have a recognised CAD and construction related qualification. Experience with either a main contractor or a sub-contractor will be equally relevant. So long as you have a good understanding of the civils elements of construction. A good working knowledge of CAD is required. A more senior candidate may suit so long as you possess the minimum skills listed.

The work will generally be based on a 5 day working week, though weekend work may be required in certain situations. This is freelance post.
