Job Description

Senior Engineer – Rail Asset Management: One of the world's leading rail engineering consultancies (Its rail business is the largest in its field in Europe) requires a Senior Engineer to work in it's Rail Asset Management Group.

As a Senior Engineer in the Rail Asset Management Group, you will be working on the development and delivery of infrastructure (primarily rail and highway) asset management solutions.
Current major projects for the team include Lifecycle Costing and Asset Renewal Planning for DLR, Asset Management Planning for Highways Agency and Transport Scotland and Decision Support Tools development for Department for Transport.

To be successful in this role you will need:
·Substantial experience in the asset management and maintenance of railway or highway structures
·Experience in whole life costing, deterioration modelling, maintenance optimisation, risk and reliability analysis techniques - that can be readily applied to the rail and highway infrastructure sectors.
·First Class/honours degree qualification (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
