Senior Civil Engineer (Maritime) - A position is available for a Senior Civil Engineer to join one of largest multidisciplinary consultancies in Europe. This global firm offers a full spectrum service to their many top tier clients, across multiple sectors, and the vacancy for Senior Civil engineer exists in the Maritime division, to be based in their Surrey office.
They are looking for high quality engineers to deliver and manage projects in their specialist maritime infrastructure division. To be successful in your application you will need to be a Chartered Civil Engineer with significant post chartership experience in maritime civil engineering design, for example coastal work, harbours & ports, rivers. You will need to be experienced in all aspects of the project, from inception to completion, and all parts in between. Knowledge of geotechnics, planning, coastal modelling and other related disciplines would also be advantageous.
You will be responsible for leading a team on a variety of projects, and as such you will need to mentor and develop graduate/intermediate engineers as they strive for chartership. Further duties will include the preparation and pricing of proposals, and the provision of technological input within the civil infrastructure discipline.
