Working under the Associate Director, the role will include running a team and leading single and multi-discipline projects as Job or Project Leader. This role combines the responsibility for technical engineering and structural design work with the wider issues of business management.

As a successful candidate, you will have a minimum of 8 years experience with proven ability to take responsibility for management of people, client and commercial issues and successfully represent your team both internally and externally.

Ideally you will have strong experience with detail design solutions, structural specifications, financial/technical proposals, project reviews and resource adjustment. You will also have excellent communication skills and proven ability to maintain relationships and actively seek work from new and existing clients, to check work of subordinates and take part in relevant design workshops.

This role requires strong commitment to CPD and awareness of structural development/market sectors and processes. To be successful you will be a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, however candidates with 6 years relevant work experience with either a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering will also be considered for the role.
