This reputable consulting engineer is currently recruiting for a Principal Geologist to work from their busy office in the outskirts of London. With over 6000 members of staff globally they provide sustainable, integrated solutions to meet the planning, engineering, management and environmental needs of clients across the transportation, property, environment and natural resources market sectors.

About the Role:
As Principal Geologist you will have a key responsibility for the assessment and/or development of Mineral Resource estimates. As an experienced professional geologist you will provide independent opinions on clients' mineral properties including, as required: assessments of mineral exploration programmes, recommendations on deposit exploration techniques, sampling and assaying quality assurance and quality controls, develop geological interpretations based on exploration databases, development of digital resource models, prepare formal independent Mineral Resource estimates, produce independent professional technical reports, and liaise closely with Mining and Metallurgical Engineers in developing project evaluations.

About You:
BSc Geology or similar with Professional Society designation.
Extensive experience assessing, evaluating, and interpreting mineral deposits covering a wide range of mineral deposit types and styles including gold and base metals, coupled with extensive experience in digital mineral deposit modelling. Some previous geological consulting experience preferred including Mineral Exploration drilling programme design; Mineral Deposit sampling and analysis QA/QC programmes; Geostatistical evaluation of mineral deposit sampling data; Mineral Deposit modeling. Preparation of technical opinion reports; Business Development capability with client oriented approach. Good communication skills - verbal and written.
