Senior Engineer – Highways – An experienced Senior Engineer is required to join the highways structures schemes delivery team of an international multi disciplinary consultancy. Reporting to the Structures Manager you will be part of a small team delivering a varied portfolio of bridge

As a Senior Engineer, you will manage some of the more significant projects within a portfolio of schemes from design to construction and sometimes with very quick turnaround times, leading the way from a technical viewpoint. Regular site visits will be required to assess the clients changing need, and to ensure that progress against programme and budget is monitored. You role will encompass the design of new bridges as well as challenging repair and strengthening works to a wide range of existing structures.
Additionally you will be involved in some design of structures, feasibility studies, inspections, the checking of developer submissions and helping to implement improved

To be considered for this role you will need a degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and ideally you will be chartered. Experience on Local Authority or Highways agency's bridges work, and evidence of working with DMRB and MCDHW would be advantageous.
Structural analysis/design software experience (such as SAM Leap 5) and a good level of computer literacy are also essential.
