A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader for our clients Water Environmental team based in their Edinburgh office. Our client in an established consultant in water management, including flooding and drainage to groundwater studies, hydrology, SUDS design and EIA. Their activities encompass the complete water cycle and clients include developers, contractors, water companies, industry regulators and agencies. They deliver solutions through integrated teams of Water Engineers and environmentalists focused on the needs of their clients. This is an immediate vacancy as our client is keen to fill the position as soon as possible and can offer great career stability which in today's economic market is vitally important and is seen as a major selling point.

About the Role
Over the last few years our clients business has enjoyed rapid growth, and they now seek a Team Leader for their Water Environment team, based in the Edinburgh office. This team carry out a wide range of interesting and exciting projects in the areas of flood management, riparian corridor enhancement, EIA and hydrology. This position requires an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who has a high level of commitment and self-motivation, who can manage the team and various projects, as well as seek out and exploit opportunities.

About You
The successful candidate will be familiar with river modelling, engineering hydrology, environmental impact assessment, and possibly civil infrastructure design. Sound experience in project management, along with good communication and report writing skills and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, will be required. Qualifications required for the role would include an Honours degree in Civil Engineering and membership of either the ICE or CIWEM.
