Job Description
The main responsibilities of the role will entail carrying out general inspections and enforcement. You will join the commercial team dealing with the following specialist areas of work: food hygiene, health and safety, infectious disease control. You will also provide advice to businesses in relation to food hygiene and occupational health and safety issues.
A practical knowledge of current food safety, health and safety issues and legislation is required. A team player and able to work independently you will also have good written and oral communication skills.
Candidates must have attained a degree in Environmental Health accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health or a degree with substantial relevance for environmental health.
