Structural Engineer with roads and utilities experience required to work for one of the worlds leading engineering, construction and project management companies in Saudi Arabia.

You will be working in a large industrial city with full facilities and infrastructure, on the largest ongoing Civil Engineering project in the world. This is the chance to take part in the construction of this city which includes the expansion of the industrial port and cooling systems, pipeline refurbishments and new desalination plants for over 20 primary industries.

Working with both the construction and engineering departments you will be responsible for reviewing, preparing and reporting major structural and civil projects, as submitted by the industries. These will include plant expansions, modifications and entirely new projects ranging from industrial plants, to clinics and schools. You will use your substantial experience in concrete and steel structures to analyse and coordinate the design of multi-discipline projects, and review and comment on structural design and drawing packages prepared by assistant Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in field Construction and operations of industrial plants, good analytical and design based computer skills, familiarity with bridge design and have some knowledge of AASHTO (http://www.transportation.org) standards. To be successful, a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required along with knowledge of DCN/SCNs, structural design calculations/drawings and preparation of studies, reports and bid packages.
