Environmental Protection is based on protecting the public against the adverse impact of waste and noise and to investigate, identify and assess environmental problems and work out the best way to tackle them. This may be through technical or scientific methods or by taking legal action against those who cause pollution or nuisance. The role will enquire a working knowledge and experience of statutory noise nuisance legislation as you will be using various methods to take action against those that cause pollution or nuisance.

This post will involve working at night and requires candidates to have a general knowledge of Environmental issues (licensing, food, pollution) as you will be assisting colleagues. A driving licence is desirable however not necessary.
