Geotechnical Engineer – Basingstoke
Contract - £25/hr + (depending on experience)

Our client, a ‘blue chip' UK main contractor is currently looking for a Senior Piling Designer to provide assistance and solutions to their operations team. At present they are looking to add to their Geotechnical team in Basingstoke by employing an experienced Geotechnical Engineer who has significant experience in designing bored RC piles. The ideal candidate will be able to provide technical solutions to complex geotechnical environments. This candidate will also be able to assist with developing solutions as and when issues arise on site.

Ideal candidate will be able to conduct site investigation and design suitable piling for ground strengthening techniques. You will have an appropriate engineering degree and ideally an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering. You will be able to produce factual and interpretative reposts gained from investigation.

The role would be based in Basingstoke but may require further work throughout the SE, you will report to the Technical Director who is based in Basingstoke and work alongside a team of Senior and junior engineers in this office.

Our client is involved with many different projects ranging from highways and bridges to high-rise housing and commercial development.
