A leading multi-disciplinary consultant with offices throughout the Gulf States, Middle East and North Africa is seeking to recruit a talented Urban Planner to work initially in their Beirut office.
The position includes project management and coordination responsibilities, as well as undertaking related site assignments in Dubaiwith a prospect for a later appointment in Dubai.
Work will include: Leading a multidisciplinary team and coordinating the technical inputs of planners, transportation and infrastructure engineers and landscape architects. Contributing to deliverables and ensuring thay they (reports and drawings) are submitted on time and to the highest quality achievable, and interacting with the client representatives through meetings and presentations.
The successul candidates must have a bachelor degree in Architecture and a postgraduate degree/diploma in Urban Planning from a well knwon University
A minimum of 12-15 years relevant work experience, as well as previous experience in project management and overseas work, excellent planning and presentation skills, motivation and teamwork spirit.
Preference will be given to candidate with previous experience in the Gulf States and Middle East.
Candidates must be fluent in English and have good writing abilities. Knowledge of a second language such as Arabic or French is an added bonus. Candidates selected at interview stage must be able to present a potrfolio and a brief description of past key projects. The contact will last for 12 months and could be extended.
Candidates will be rewarded with a highly competitive rate, car allowance, monthly accommodation allowance, relocation expenses, one month's leave and 4 return air tickets per year. This position would suit an individual that enjoys a great deal of travelling.
