Quality Manager: A position exists for an experienced Quality Manager to join one of the UK largest privately owned contractors. They employ over 100 staff and turnover for 2009 is predicted to surpass £450 million. This role is based in Hertfordshire, but travel throughout the UK will be required.
As Quality Manager, your role will be to assist in the co-ordination of all activities related to the implementation, development and maintenance of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) of the Civils and Rail .

The ideal applicant should have the following qualifications and experience:

• A qualified internal quality auditor with demonstrable experience of completing internal audits. Lead Auditor status beneficial but not essential.

• An understanding of the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits.

• An Associate member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).

• Good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills. Knowledge of web-based applications would be beneficial.

• Training and presentation experience throughout all levels of an organisation, preferably trained to ‘Train the Trainer' level.
