Job Description

To meet the expansion of their Resource and Waste Management Service, your client seeks Principal and Senior level Waste Planners to provide expert advice to both public and private sector clients. You will be required to develop and provide waste planning support to both the Wastes Management and Contaminated Land and Remediation teams. You will lead the delivery of planning advice to internal and external clients, including project management and team management. You will also have the opportunity to market waste management planning services.

To enable you to meet the requirements of this role, you will need to have extensive UK waste planning experience, ideally from a consultancy or local authority environment. You will have studied a relevant discipline at degree (or equivalent) level, and continued on with professional development to gain professional membership with an associated institution. Sound understanding and knowledge of PPC permitting, waste management licensing, SEA/EA and waste management procurement processes is essential.
