Site Manager / Engineer / Supervisor. With a turnover around £10 - £12m, operating from offices outside the M25, and covering a geographical area that includes London and the Home counties, this Groundworks & RC orientated Contractor covers a range of work from site investigations, civil engineering and groundworks to reinforced concrete structures.

Current requirement is for an experienced Manager / Engineer with at least 5 years relevant UK experience in Groundworks and RC to work with the directly employed General Foreman on a 3 month contract to build a 2 storey RC frame with associated external works.

The project is in a constricted site, so you will need to be able to co-ordinnate activities and deliveries to meet a tight production deadline. You will need to be a good communicator as there is a high client involvement. There are areas of Temporary works and you should be able to read drawings and explain the information in layman’s terms, have good record keeping skills, a Technical Engineering ability, whilst being able to get on with people will make this your role.

Qualified to Degree or Diploma level in a Civil Engineering or associated discipline, you will have a valid 5 day CITB Site Manager’s certificate, be CSCS certified and ideally a First Aid qualification.

An excellent chance to join a progressive company on a freelance basis, though a permanent role may be a possibility at a later date.
