Director Facilities Management – Abu Dhabi

The hospital is looking for a dynamic professional to join the team on this very large complex in Abu Dhabi. The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City is located in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The health care facilities that comprise SKMC are situated on an island about five miles wide and nine miles long. The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City provides a network of comprehensive health care facilities and services for the Island of Abu Dhabi.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Chartered Senior Manager/ Professional Engineer responsible for assuring effective planning, organization, directing, evaluating and administration of the Support Services Department. Responsibilities include budget development and control, policy and procedure development, JCIA standards compliance and organization of the Support Services to provide high quality services, reliability and safety.

1.0POSITION QUALIFICATION:

1.1Educational Requirements:

1.1.1Chartered Engineer
1.1.2B.Sc. Engineering
1.1.3Management Diploma
1.1.4Member of American Society Engineering
1.1.5Member Institute Hospital Engineering
1.1.6Knowledge of JCIA Standards
1.1.7Knowledge of TQM/CQI/PI Philosophy

1.2Professional Experience:

3.2.1.Minimum ten (10) years progressive Engineering Management in a Health Care Environment responsibilities.
3.2.2.At least Three (3) years Senior Engineering Management in a Health Care environment.
3.2.3.Evidence of continuing education.
