Job Description

We seek an Environmental Health Officer to undertake a full range of duties appropriate to food safety, occupational health and safety regulation. This is an exciting and well paid role with a busy and well managed public sector team.

The successful candidate will undertake inspection and enforcement duties including those of a more complex nature, interpret and draft reports; report and advice to Chief Officers and Members etc... on environmental health and safety matters. Attend committees, working parties etc. as appropriate. Give evidence at legal proceedings and public enquiries.
