Site Surveyor
Permanent
£25k + Package
One of our Blue Chip Contractors is looking for a Site Based Surveyor to take on a permanent position for a range of new and ongoing Highways contracts in the South East.
Main Duties
As Site Surveyor you will be working very closely with Site Engineers, Section Engineers and Section Agents on a number large highway projects. You will be providing technical survey information, control networks along with line and level for construction activities. You will also be responsible for obtaining as built data and processing this info back in the site office. You will also be responsible for uploading and downloading data, construction set out along with pre and post pour checks.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
Previous demonstrated experience in delivering technical information through on site surveying within a construction environment
A willingness and competency to take part in a site based role
Good communication and people skills
A desire to progress within the Construction Industry
A safe and ethical work practice
The successful candidate will have the following:
An Engineering / Land Surveying degree, HND or similar qualifications
Proven competencies with EDM and GPS (machine control an advantage)
Experience with survey software and packages (LSS, MOSS etc)
Major UK Highways / Motorways experience a distinct advantage
