Project / Senior Engineers. Civils and Groundworks Contractor with work starting in March and April on Infrastructure and Commercial projects is seeking suitably qualified applicants who will be interested in long term Contract or Permanent work. Demolition, Piling, Excavation, Drainage and associated Groundworks, Steel and RC frames experience will all be considered.

Experienced Civil Engineers required for the roles of Project / Senior Engineer, with promotion prospects and career opportunities. This established Civil Engineering Contractor is looking for Engineers who have demonstrated their ability on fast moving sites and who are keen to progress their careers.

The Company is actively pursuing and winning bigger contracts, with work secured for the current year they are aiming to maintain their turnover through 2009 / 2010. The company has built a reputation for pushing the jobs forward to meet challenging deadlines and targets.

The Projects range from Leisure and Recreational to Educational and Commercial, being mainly new build and extensions with the scope of works covering Demolition, Piling, Excavation, Drainage and associated Groundworks, Steel and RC frames. Scheme values range from £0.5 to £60m. Work is primarily in London and the south-east but also runs throughout the UK.

Project / Senior Engineers who have an Engineering background and are capable of taking on managerial responsibilities, having had previous / current setting out experience, will be most suitable; though here they will be responsible for programming as well as QA / QC and the associated additional management duties.

The Role. You must be able to supervise Engineers, Direct Labour and Sub-Contractors, also assisting the Project Manager, resolving a multitude of technical queries, assembling Method Statements and co-ordinating material call-offs.

Qualified to Degree or to tertiary level in a Civil Engineering or Construction discipline field you will have 2 – 4 years relevant and recent UK experience working for a recognised company. CSCS card essential, First Aid optional, Driving licence essential.
