Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a county council based in the Southwest, who are currently looking for a Senior Engineer, with the following skills and background;

•Significant professional knowledge and post qualification experience within structural engineering design, construction and maintenance.
•Significant knowledge of structural design, construction and maintenance standards and procedures, including broad understanding of highway and transportation engineering design and construction procedures and techniques.
•Knowledge of techniques applicable to solving structural problems in a safe manner.
•Detailed knowledge of corporate procedures and understanding of statutory procedures in the construction industry.
•Sound knowledge and experience of contract preparation and management, including experience in determining and monitoring costs and programmes.
•Knowledge of health and safety regulations within construction.
