Required to provide assistance to the resident engineer in supervising architectural and interior contractors and sub contractors along with the performance and coordination of disciplines within the concourse. In addition to this you will be required to carry out surveillance on safety, workmanship, quality and schedule assuring that results are in full compliance with contract requirements. You will also be expected to resolve construction technical issues and queries, monitoring cost and time schedules and review of construction equipment and personnel.
As you will be responsible for a team providing both technical and administrative direction it is important you are able to demonstrate significant previous experience of managing internal teams, whilst also being able to liaise with external clients when required.
To be considered you will need to hold a recognized degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering and possess strong technical knowledge of architectural and interior design, materials of construction, building systems and construction processes with a high degree of complexity and high quality finishes.
Previous knowledge of curtain walling systems, counters, flooring and ceiling systems and standing seam roofing systems is essential along with a proven track record in Airport Terminal Buildings. Additional experience of high quality 5 star hotel finishes would be a distinct advantage.
